Breathing in Self Love with Zee Clarke, author of Black People Breathe

  • SAGRADA 4926 Telegraph Ave Oakland, CA 94609 (map)

Sometimes it can be hard to pause and take meaningful time to show ourselves some love. And yet, self-love can be the exact nourishment that we need to show up as our best selves in our relationships, at work, and in our day-to-day life.

If you could benefit from a little self-love boost, join Zee Clarke, author of Black People Breathe, to learn practical breathwork practices you can use to show yourself some love during the times when you need it most.  Join us for a mindful journey and self-reflection exercise! Together we will shower ourselves with the love we deserve and leave with a toolkit to continue this sacred practice at home and on the go.

Trained in India, Zee leverages her toolkit of breathwork, meditation, yoga, sound healing, and Reiki, to ensure that everyone, especially people of color, has the resiliency tools to thrive despite life’s challenges

Zee Clarke, author of Black People Breathe, is a Harvard MBA that went from leading teams at Fortune 500 companies and startups in Silicon Valley to teaching mindfulness and breathwork.

After experiencing a number of race related challenges, from racial profiling and harassment by the police to microaggressions in the workplace, she realized that mindfulness and breathwork were much more powerful outside of the yoga studio and in the context of our everyday lives and made it her mission to help Black, Indigenous, Latinx and all people of color heal, survive, and thrive.

Zee now teaches stress management, resilience, and self-care tools at organizations like Google, HSBC, and Jack & Jill of America. She has been featured in Fortune, Forbes, CNBC, Ebony, and Essence. Visit her website at zeeclarke.com to learn more.
