Los Muertos 2021 Lili Lanier Mandalas

November is our traditional month for honoring ancestors. Many people create home altars, ofrendas, as a way of expressing their love and remembrance. Sagrada has sugar skull molds, papel picado, calacas, candles, icons, devotional and festive decorations.

Our shop displays are here to inspire you.

This year our windows are dedicated to the memory of "the children who never came home" from the residential & boarding schools over many decades in the US and Canada. San Francisco artist Lilli Lanier created two stunning pieces for our los muertos windows. She creates intricate mandalas made of hundreds of tiny paper roses. Guided by her heart and her meditations, Lilli created these two pieces to memorialize these indigenous children and to honor all children.

Our beautiful remembrance windows will remain up through November 7th.

Please come by to pause, to offer prayers, and receive a copy of our memorial card honoring these children, a small prayer candle to take home.
